I HAD to read this book for a book club---and I am soooo glad.Theodore Roosevelt was a wonderful, loving, family man. He was an honorable,brave, adventurer, much loved by his men. The story begins with preparations forRoosevelt's 1,000 mile trip through an uncharted tributary of the Amazon. Candido Rondon, equally famous in Argentina was Roosevelt's co-captain. They traveled with a large group of military men, local laborers, naturalist, a doctor and Kermit, Roosevelt's son. Oh yes, there were beloved dogs alongAs these men struggled to live through disease, hardships, and near starvation,you are there with them. This is Candice Millard's first book. She has the rare gift of having her readers feel the emotions of grief, joy and terror.It is as though you are on the devil river with them. I have never felt such suspense. I read furiously as these brave men struggled unselfishly to survive. "River of Doubt" is a must read.

This was Candice Millard's first book of history and biography, and it was made for her.Millard's style is to take a major figure in history and focus on a single, often obscure slice of the figure's life. In her book on Churchill, it was his early adventures and the Boer Wars in South Africa. Here, she takes an historical look at Theodore Roosevelt's adventures in the Amazon Basin after his two terms as President and his devastating loss for a third term in the three-way race in 1912.River of Doubt is a wonderful story of adventure and misadventure. Its backdrop is a tributary, previously unexplored by Westerners, of the Amazon. It has everything a reader would want: the mysteries and terror of the jungle, the incredible and deadly complexity of the river, the inept preparations for the adventure, the wild and unknown Indians of the region, needless deaths, murder, history, and the bigger-than-life story of the aging Teddy, his son, Kermit, and the rest of the exploration party.I enjoyed it totally. Millard's Churchill book was good, but it suffered from often static setting, mostly in a Boer prison. This book has a built-in momentum, as the ill-prepared group make their way down the river into the unknown. It is the perfect story for Candice Millard, and she tells it perfectly.

I heard Candice Millard on a John Grishham book tour podcast and was intrigued by her background and the meticulous research behind her books. (My gosh, the one she DIDN'T write about Ben Franklin - and why - says worlds about the authenticity this author brings to the table!)This tale of Roosevelt's ill-conceived and ill-fated expedition through the Amazon reads almost as much like a novel as a documentary. I particularly enjoyed the insights into Roosevelt's personality - his earliest motivations and his rigorous discipline to refuse the hand early life dealt him. The same could be said of Captain Rondon, the Brazilian lead on the trip.The science and history lessons are so integral to the story (or the story is so inherent in the science and history) that you'll likely find yourself smarter and wiser and more emotionally attuned to both nature and human nature for having read this book.

What a wonderful book!! Having read previous biographies of "Teedy" I came to this book with an already favorable image of this man who overcame severe asthma in childhood and, indeed, met all obstacles with a sense of perseverance and a firm belief that one must grasp life with both hands and always do the best with the gifts we are given. While this book shows more of his vulnerability, both physically and emotionally, it did nothing to diminish my admiration of this wonderful man. What a National Treasure!!Now I come to the author, Candice Millard. As I continued reading the book I was amazed over and over again at the sheer amount of research and the amount of talent it took to put all these facts into a cohesive and very entertaining story!!I wholeheartedly recommend this book!!!!!! Five stars to the story, itself. Five stars to the author. Five stars to Theodore Roosevelt. My only regret is I was given the option of just five stars.

Candace Millard has written a wrenching story about Teddy Roosevelt's post-presidential adventure in 1914 on the then uncharted River of Doubt, a tributary of the Amazon. He was accompanied by Candido Rondon, George Cherrie, and his 24 year old son, Kermit, among others. She reveals through her well-researched book Roosevelt's phenomenal character, discipline, courage and vitality, as well as his strict adherence to personal sacrifice for the benefit of his comrades, to thoughtful generosity, and to equality of treatment for others even to his own detriment. When his own serious illness became burdensome he even offered his own life to preserve the safety of his fellow travelers. The devotion of father and son to each other was especially inspiring as they confronted death continually from the indigenous tribe on the east bank, from malaria, from starvation, and from the river's torturous rapids. The book underscores our mortality and how dangerous adventures like Roosevelt's simultaneously enhance and reduce our brief existence. Millard has written an historically rich and fascinating work.

While I enjoyed the expedition of T Roosevelt in the Amazon region of South American very much and the difficulties the men went through while following the River of Doubt, I got very tired and somewhat discouraged with the detailed discussion of the relationship of vines, epiphytes and trees; and the life and legend of the bloodsucking catfishes and many other symbiotic relationships between plants, ant and humans. I felt these were "fillers" in the book, of interest to some, but distracting to me. Again, the pre-historic following of the Amazon Indians could be interesting, if I wasn't so interested in how these brave men managed to complete their goal of making it home with diseases, starvation and depression.

If you are like me, you grew up in New England and were belittled for being Canuck or having Canuck family in the closet. As an adult, you might wonder what was so shameful and wish you knew more about a lineage hidden in time. This book will feel like a long-lost aunt and give you a peek into a past you never knew you had. I have had some of these foods and look forward to trying more.

Great book of recipes for local food preparation. If you like potatoes you will love this cook book. I have had several dishes made by local chefs. The recipes for them are in this book and taste perfect as authentic.

I looked for a long time for an authentic recipe cookbook from New Brunswick Canada that was written in English. These are the recipes that my Grandmother, Aunts and Mom use to make and still make. The recipes are really good.If you are from the area of Moncton or the Acadian Trail this is the cookbook for you. Yummie food.

My mom's family is from Acadia and these recipes are wonderful. I got them to make for my family the things my mom and her family (and her family before her) enjoyed. An excellent book!!

As an Acadian, I enjoy looking at old recipes and either using them as written or making healthier versions of the same things.

As a person of Acadian decent, this was a great find. This includes dishes that my mom still makes.

There's something evocative about the food your grandmother cooked; you may not have enjoyed all of it in your childhood and you may not dare to eat it now, but when you become interested in your cultural roots, the old dishes gain flavor in your memories. I didn't learn to cook the old Acadian dishes from my memere, so I was delighted to find A Taste of Acadie while traveling in Prince Edward Island.This fascinating book by Marielle Cormier-Boudreau and Melvin Gallant is much more than recipes. The authors researched the cooking (and culture) of the Acadian people of Maritime Canada: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. The Acadians settled in this area from mid-central France in the mid-1600's and were ousted and dispersed by the British a hundred years later, civilian casualties of war between France and England. They gradually resettled up and down the Eastern seaboard, and many who had been repatriated to France eventually came back. These hardy people lived a hardscrabble life of fishing, agriculture and animal husbandry in the unyielding climate, and their cooking reflected the ups and downs of their existence--as cooking always does.The book is arranged in sections--soups, fish, shellfish, vegetables--and each section is prefaced with some general, grounding remarks and basic techniques. The recipes reflect the simple ingredients available, largely cod, potatoes, small game birds, and pork. Pork and pork fat were highly valued, and consequently, the authors note, "...pigs were raised with great care and were often a source of personal pride. Older generations of Acadians told us that a farmer's reputation rested on the thickness of the pork fat that his pigs produced."Some of the recipes hold a distinct lack of appeal; for example blood sausage and "head cheese" made by simmering the meat off a pig's head and hocks. Yet these dishes were great delicacies to my father and uncles, when their mother indulged them with a cooking spree. The family favorite among the old "recettes" (recipes) was poutines rapees, baseball-sized dumplings of grated raw potato wrapped around chunks of salt pork and simmered in salted water.There are more congenial recipes in the book by all means: the popular buckwheat pancakes (ployes), seafood fricots (chowder-like concoctions), dandelion wine, simple homemade bread, and the hearty desserts and puddings sweetened with apples, berries, molasses, honey and maple syrup. I was particularly interested in the Acadian version of pate a la viande (meat pie), since this was another family favorite from the older generation. Even though the Acadian heritage is strong throughout Maine, nowadays the Quebecois version of meat pie (tourtiere) holds sway in the area and though I make tourtiere every year, it somehow fails to fully satisfy my memory; this winter we'll have the meat pie of my childhood.I'm not sure how many dishes I'll actually make from a cookbook that lists "lard or butter" as possible substitutes for salt pork. But there are a few things I wish I had cooked for my father with his "French-Canadian" palate, since my mother (who was Scotch-Irish) never would. I'm glad to have this beautifully-presented book on my shelf to browse through when I'm struck with an urge to explore my cultural heritage through cooking.Linda Bulger, 2009

4.25 STARS Bumped up to 5 because Eileen Cook set the bar so high for herself. Nobody writes dysfunctional friendships on steroids quite like her.Awaiting a delayed flight in Vancouver, Kim meets Nicki, who challenges Kim to step outside her comfort zone. On the plane, over a bottle of stolen vodka, Kim commiserates about her ex boyfriend Connor, who’s also on her educational trip to London. Nicki opens up about her alcoholic mum and the two girls joke about killing each other’s “problems” ala Strangers On a Train. Then Connor winds up dead and Kim’s nightmares are just beginning.Kim lies. We know this because she tells us. She seems sympathetic, but appearances can be deceiving and narrators can be unreliable. I couldn’t get a grasp on the real Kim and I’m certain Cook crafted the protagonist to be just that evasive.While a little slow to start YOU OWE ME A MURDER is quintessential Cook, which is a very, very good thing. Clue or red herring? I never knew.I loved reading YOU OWE ME A MURDER. Although I’m a big rereader, including Cook’s other books, I’m not sure this one is the type I’ll read twice.

This is one of the books I expected to love and that totally fulfilled its mission!17-year-old Kim is about to fly to London for two weeks with a bunch of schoolmates. She’d hoped she could opt out because Connor, a guy from her group, just broke up with her—worse: he’s traveling with his new girlfriend—and she says this much to a newly met flightmate, Nicki. Unlike Kim, Nicki seems fearless. They become instant friends. They do daring things. They laugh. Over vodka, they make a pact—you know those pacts; they’re so stupid, but GOD it’s such a relief to spit it out! So okay, I’ll kill Connor and you’ll kill my mom for me. But when Connor turns up dead, Kim wonders; they were joking back in the plane, right?While this book isn’t about guessing who did what or why but rather how the main character is going to stick her head out of this mess, I read throughout the book as if I was munching on popcorn and watching a show—there was something almost Final Destination about it. I hoped for a grander finale, but can’t say I was disappointed by the ending, and since it’s a YA thriller I went to my daughter and recommended it to her.

I really enjoyed this book. Occasionally I found myself mentally yelling at the protagonist for being a dumb teenager, but other than that it was quite good!

I had more problems than I had praise for this book, unfortunately. I was highly disappointed by the fat phobia and amount of body shaming/ girl on girl judgment from Kim. Not to mention she vehemently defended herself by saying she was not politically correct, as if that was a horrible thing to do. The word psycho was tossed around a lot and I don't like when mental health diagnosis is thrown around willy nilly in the book.The characterization is this book was really lacking for me. I didn't connect with Kim nor did I believe her transformation. Connor was an absolute douche and that was his whole personality. Everyone has some sort of redeeming quality and he was very one-sided. The villain of the book was just weird. I certainly didn't believe the reveal behind her motivations and I felt it was a stretch to make her seem as much of a mastermind as we were lead to believe.I wanted more from all of it and what I did get fell really flat for me. I can recommend thrillers that I think are done better than this one.*I received a complimentary copy of this book from HMH Books for Young Readers through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.*

She is the daughter of one of the original Mommy Bloggers. This means her mother is basically a famous Mommy Blogger, making good money for her efforts. This also means that although never referred to by name, Kim's life is blogged about for the world to see. This created an interesting view point. Kim in essence is a victim of her mothers blogging. I found this an interesting & very with the times for today's young adults when essentially everything is plastered all over the internet for everyone & anyone to peruse. It most certainly can give one pause in considering that perhaps we shouldn't be so open in discussing/photographing every aspect of our lives.Kim convinces her parents to let her go on a two week educational trip to London with other school mates. The trip is a learning experience by being lightly chaperoned & shown around London. It sounds like an absolutely delightful way to learn a little current & cultural history by doing. Unfortunately Kim's motives aren't pure. She wants to go because her boyfriend is going. Be careful what you wish for. Before the trip, her boyfriend dumps her & immediately starts dating another girl. Kim no longer wants to be on this trip, essentially trapped with her ex, watching him cuddle & coo with his new lass.As the back of the book states, Kim meets a total stranger at the airport, named Nicki. Kim is instantly smitten with Nicki & as a result finds herself doing risky things she normally wouldn't do. Once in London, Kim starts healing from the breakup & is happily moving on. However it seems that her ex is still having some issues. Next thing Kim knows, he's dead. It creates a lot of stress & emotional trauma on many of the kids, but they manage to move on as best as they can. But not Kim. Nicki wants her murder & is determined to make Kim do it.It seems that Kim is in over her head with Nicki. She makes decisions that made me groan as the reader. My curiosity piqued, I bought this on the merits of its great title alone. And subsequently was most glad that I did, as I found this book very very interesting. It was published approximately 11 years after the end of WWII, and bears a certain attitude unique to it being so relatively recent. The author was t-h-e-r-e and expertly describes his personal view of a window into time.While there are certain passages which are definitely aimed at a reader with next to zero knowledge of submarines, they are regularly overshadowed by many fascinating pieces on topics/tactics which I had never come across before. Again, the writer’s proximity to events – both personally and temporal – gives this book a unique viewpoint. I found Mr. Gallery’s thoughts regarding aspects of the ‘bad torpedo’ problem and of the Nuremberg Trials particularly absorbing.There is a lot of action in this work, I assure you it’s far from a dry recitation on how the two Battles of the Atlantic were fought.I heartily recommend this book.

This is a really excellent book about the U-boat and anti-U-boat war in the Atlantic in WWII. Although it's focus is on how the U-505 was captured by the antisubmarine Task Group under Adm. Gallery's command and his own direct decisions which culminated in the capture, the book encompasses a lot more. It discussed the broad context and history of the submarine war in the Atlantic from both the U.S. and german points of view; discusses submarine design, weapons and tactics; antisubmarine weapons and tactics; the history, personnel and war cruises of the U-505 leading up to its capture;and the history and actions of the Task Group. Throughout the book, the people are well discussed. Ultimately, the activities of the capture are described in great detail from the U.S. Navy's and the U-boat's perspectives. The writing is clear. Overall, the book is very well researched, organized, written and exciting to read.

Rear Admiral Gallery (one of the three brothers who were discharged from the US Navy at this rank!) wrote the story of the boarding of the Nazi sub U505 during WWII. At the time of the events described by the author he was commanding a task force of an air carrier and destroyers charged with hunting German subs. It was his idea to form and train a boarding party that would be able to capture an intact Nazi sub. The main theme of the book is the history of U505, from the laying of its keel, through its lone wolf career. and up to its capture by Gallery's men, and finally its final task, serving as an exhibit in Chicago science museum. Parenthetically we get a fair description of the German submarine effort to destroy allied shipping on the Atlantic, on service and morals, on politics, war, and God. Despite being an author of ten books (five of them fiction), Gallery is no Shakespeare. His prose is full of cliches, mixed metaphors (e.g. "...the Old Man Death knocking like a lusty young giant..."), and countless repetitions. The style is in the best (or worst) of The Brady Bunch tradition and reflects the authors rather simplistic philosophy of life. Nevertheless, despite its shortcomings, it is a vivid though a mite tedious yarn of the life and (mostly) death struggle during the Battle of the Atlantic

An excellent tale recounting the actual events that led to the capture of U-505 and its final resting place in Chicago. Definitely on my to-do list. This is nothing like the move, U-571 with Matthew McConaughey, this is good. The pace is well done and the recounting of actions in the North Atlantic are superb. I would also point out, the author, Daniel V. Gallery is a man of strong, conviction and faith. He addresses the moral points of wart I’ve never read in such detail. He goes into detail when Rader and Doenitz are tried for war crimes at Nuremburg. He had no problem with the Nazis being tried, but those in the Kriegsmarine is another story. They were tried for the same actions Gallery, Nimitz and King performed-unrestricted submarine warfare. He found it a bit hypocritical to say the least. I enjoyed his analysis of the current geopolitical situation and how we viewed our enemy at the time-The USSR. Remember, this book was published in 1956. I’ve read other works that held the same sentiments and fears regarding the experimentation with nuclear subs. They would be much deadlier than the S and U-boats of World War Two. They knew they would be lethal but they could not imagine the capabilities these new weapons would carry. I didn’t mean to get off point, but that’s how moving I found the story. Gallery holds nothing back describing how Germany almost completed strangling England to death and cutting off the shipping lanes to Russia. In 1942, the situation looked bleak indeed. But as in all wars, we started to win the technological war while the Germans fell behind. And it happened literally in the nick of time! Another six months and the U-Boats would have dominated the seas, but new radar and sonar devices allowed us to hunt down the killers of the depths. Who will like this? Any World War Two buff wanting to know more about the Battle of the Atlantic.Five Stars

This story is one of the best world wwII books I have read. Having seen and been through the U505 in Chicago years ago I wished this book had reached me before I did so. It beats any military saga I've read thus far.

About the Author

Arno Ilgner distinguished himself as a pioneering rock climber in the 1970s and 80s, when the top climbs were bold and dangerous first ascents. These personal exploits are the foundation for Ilgner s unique physical and mental training program--The Warrior`s Way. In 1995, after a thorough search of the literature and practice of mental training and the great warrior traditions, Ilgner formalized his methods, founded the Desiderata Institute, and began teaching his program full time. Alumni of his courses now include some of the nation s most prominent climbers. Ilgner has run clinics in the north- and southeastern U.S, to California, Canada, and the U.K. He has worked with young competition climbers and written national magazine articles based on his methods. He holds a BA in geology, spent several years operating his own geological consulting firm in the Wyoming oil fields, acted as Chief Financial Officer for an industrial tool distribution company, attended the Army Ranger School, and served a non-combat tour of duty in Korea. Great book! Kinda new-agey but if you can get past it and focus on the true message of the book then it will help your climbing. It helps to be honest with yourself and let yourself take a real, good, hard look in the mirror when you're reading otherwise, you may not take anything away from it. It really helped me get my head right when it comes to taking risks. Since reading this book, i have found myself to be more gritty, more willing to persevere, and more likely to throw for a hold I normally wouldn't have. The author points out different kinds of ways we self-sabotage our "success" on a climb. He tackles the ego and presents various ideas in a simple, direct, and impactful way. After reading this book, my climbing has changed and the lessons i have learned have transferred into other areas of my life. Give it a shot, it'll be worth it.

I've been struggling with taking on sport climbing due to fear of injury/fear of falling. I've only been climbing for a year, so the world of all things climbing is still relatively new to me. I ordered this book after a few climbing trips when I noticed that fear was holding me back from expanding my climbing knowledge. I won't lie -- I am still afraid after reading this book, however, it has provided me with some excellent mental training tactics to use while climbing, especially on climbs outside of my comfort zone. This book will serve as a great reference to look back on for years to come. I've already lent it out to a friend to borrow and can't wait to get it back to read it again. It provides lessons for climbing, but also things that can be applicable to life in general. It's a very inspirational book that teaches you how important it is to explore outside of your comfort zone. 5 stars! Highly recommend. Thank you, The Rock Warrior's Way!

Ever bail?This book should be on the reading list of anyone who has ever bailed off a big wall (a mountain or any other uncomfortable committing endeavor) and is strong and mature enough to really confront why. By putting in the effort to truly study this book and open your mind to some unfamiliar and uncomfortable new ideas any person can learn to recognize and better control the unproductive thoughts and behaviors holding back all areas of their lives.Warning: for successful personal improvement this book cannot be casually read. The reader must be truly open and absolutely ready to make some tough changes. Much time and effort must be supplied by the reader on an ongoing basis. This book will serve as a good reference to help direct those long-term efforts. Improvements in the mental game are not as easy to measure as on the physical side so maturity, patience, and trust are mandatory.

What a completely amazing book. I wasn't sure how Arno would fill an entire book worth of "what to think about when you climb", but i now realize that the book is about so much more than that... It has opened my eyes and my mind to so much... i'm recommending this book equally to climbers and nonclimbers alike, anyone who is interested in becoming sharper, more aware, and simply better at ANYTHING it is they do.Oh and by the way, my climbing has significantly improved since reading this book.

I've been buying off of Amazon for a few years now, and this is the first time I've ever been compelled to write a review about a book or product. I recommend this book to any one that rock climbs regularly or wants to get serious about their climbing. This book addresses so many mental aspects of climbing that I face (and still work on improving) since the first day I ever climbed. I'm only halfway through the book and it's already helped me so much. As I read, I've been highlighting ideas/passages that really hit home for me.. I've been remembering them while on the wall, and they've actually helped me on those walls or cruxes where your mind is holding you back. This is a really interesting read and I suggest it to any one that needs help with the mental aspect of climbing. Especially if you are new to climbing. I've only been climbing about 8 months, so this book has really helped me transform my thinking. I've wanted to lend this book to my climbing partner but I don't want to let go of it, I may just buy her one for herself =)

Ilgner's book is definitely not something you'll just breeze through in an afternoon. Some of the concepts are pretty abstract, and a lot of the book's power lies in helping you to look at your own weaknessess and bad habits...which is not something all of us are eager to do. However, if you take some time with the ideas and let them sink in, you may be very surprised and grateful for what you find.One particularly powerful concept is what Ilgner calls "wishing behavior": wishing that a hold were bigger or that the pro was better or closer to you. Once you become attuned to this you will be amazed at how common, and how unproductive, this kind of thinking is. All around you at the crag (and perhaps in your own mind), you'll suddenly hear voices wailing about how hard and impossible it all is, and how they wish the climb or the climber were different.Well, the holds are the holds, the pro is the pro, and you are you. That's the challenge you came for, and this book can help you learn to savor it and thrive in it.

This book can help you go from someone who was scared to climb a pretty solid ladder to a single story rooftop to leading pitches on loose rock with 40-50 foot runouts and questionable pro and be able to say you had fun afterwards. At least, that's what it did for me. I mean, it took a lot of work, some meditation, and I had to read through the book a few times, but it's amazing how it showed me to transform how I think. I will definitely read it several more times and continue to practice the theories.

BOUGHT THIS TO GO WITH FROZEN DOLLS FOR MY GRAND NEICES THEY ARE HAVING FUN WITH THE STICKERS

I like that this book is an sticker activity book, then after that is complete it can be a reading book. Each spot you put a sticker on has a little blurb about something from Frozen. My daughter has enjoyed both the stickers and the stories. I'm uploading photos so you can see how this works. One of the photos is the instructions page.

I bought a book of 5 Minute Star War stories for a little boy and the "ultimate" Frozen sticker book for his sister. There were very few stickers and the removable feature is misleading. It's not like colorforms where you can remove and reuse. These you can move and hope for the best when you restick. Would not recommend. But I'm sure the Disney people need more money, so glad I could help there.

Bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday. She's a big Frozen fan, so she liked the stickers but wasn't a big fan of the book itself, so she used the stickers on other things of hers. The pages of the book where the stickers go aren't really exciting or interesting...just outlines of the stickers where you have to match up the correct sticker to the correct outline, and there are little blurbs about Frozen and the individual stickers. We have other sticker-type activity books where kids can have more creative ways of using the stickers, like backgrounds or scenery, where kids can then put the stickers where they want to create their own individual unique pictures.But all in all, this was packed with tons of stickers, and the stickers were of good quality, good color...unlike, let's say, stickers we get from the dollar store that are too thin, tear easily, etc. For the price and on the stickers alone I'd recommend this, but the book was left unused by us. My daughter did put a couple stickers in the book initially, but even though the book claims the stickers are reusable and can be easily taken on and off the pages, they cannot.

The pictures of the characters are very well drawn, unfortunately the stickers in many cases do not match up with the places in the book where the stickers should be placed. My young granddaughter lost interest in this sticker book as soon as it became apparent that the stickers do not match up very well. She stopped playing with it after a few minutes because of this defect even though Frozen characters are her favorites.

Not so ultimate. I expected more stickers and more pages where our toddler could stick them to. There were just a couple of predefined spaces where you have to put in the right stickers. I was hoping there were those pages with scenes where you can freely stick the stickers and be more creative of the scenarios. It wasn't that bad since it had all the major characters in it I just wished there were more of those cute little trolls cause my daughter loves them.Its a fairly good frozen sticker book just not much activity to do in it.

Let me tell you how utterly amazed my Frozen fan was when she unwrapped this book. For as cheap as it is, this is one of the best presents I could have ever given her. She spent countless hours placing and replacing the stickers on every surface imaginable, recreating just about every scene from the movie, and then creating her own! It was shipped with no hassle or issues, giving mom an easy way to be the best, and daughter hours of entertainment! I would not only recommend this, but would also buy it again!

I specifically and bought this book for our daughter because we were taking a long road trip and needed to keep her busy. And guess what...it worked! She's only 3 so the stickers were everywhere. I can see it also being fun for an older child who would know where to put the stickers in the correct locations. The stickers were also very big, at least three to four inches on some of them.

Disappointed in this. Perhaps I should read further into it but this book literally has only a few pages of stickers. For the price I expected 10 or so pages. I bet we didn't even get 5 pages of stickers. I know my daughter will love it anyways but don't think it's worth the price
